Armenia, John Allen 72, of Wesley Chapel Florida, passed away on October 1st due to complications from a heart attack. John was born on November 16th, 1948 in Buffalo, New York. In 1966 John graduated from Kenmore East High School. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology earning his Associates Degree in Business in 1970. John married his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth A. Beresh on June 20, 1970. After graduation, John spent the majority of his professional career working at Bank of America for 32 years, finally retiring as a Sr. Vice President in 2003. Upon retirement, he kept himself busy doing technology-related contract work, umpiring youth baseball, and chasing his grandchildren around. John was preceded in death by his parents Carmello Salvatore Armenia and Cecila Rose Armenia. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; brothers Donald Armenia (Marilyn) and David Armenia (Susan); sisters Linda Monaco (Mike), Nancy Sokolski (James), Janet Fisher (Steven), and Cindy Gibson; son John Armenia (Michelle); daughter Jennifer Silvers (Steven); four grandchildren, Avery, Emma, Aiden, and Sophia; 22 nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be planned at a future date. John was always looking for ways to help support underprivileged kids. The Heart Gallery of Tampa helps foster children waiting to be adopted. John you were a great friend and neighbor in Oak Creek and a leader on our HOA board. There seem like there wasn’t a day I didn’t see you walking in the community and many times with your granddaughters. You’ll be missed by your friends and especially your family.
