John Hraklis Pimenidis, 77, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2023. He was born was on June 8, 1946, in Pireaus, Greece, the son of Hraklis and Sappho Pimenidis. 

John left Greece as a young man and moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he married his wife, Christina on December 12, 1970. John later became a lifelong resident of the area after moving from Cleveland, Ohio in 1978 with his wife and daughter. 

He led a fulfilling life as a self employed business owner and entrepreneur, dedicating himself to creating a warm and loving home for his family. His love and care knew no boundaries, and he touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know him.

While John left us far too soon, the impact he had on others throughout the years will be felt for years to come. He was that person who helped others whether it be a stranger or family, he helped so many people in so many different ways from feeding the homeless a Thanksgiving meal to always donating to a fundraiser or organization.

John was a proud Greek immigrant who enjoyed spending time with his family and mostly his two grandchildren he loved so dearly. He instilled upon his family Greek values and traditions and a strong sense of pride. His family will miss his smile and infectious laugh, comforting hugs, humor and his wisdom that will forever guide us.

John is is survived by his loving wife, Christina; his one daughter, Jennifer and her husband Antonis and two beautiful grandchildren, Kostadeanos and Ioanna; as well as his beloved sister Avgi, and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at St. George Greek Orthodx Church, 9426 Little Road, New Richey, FL. 34654 on November 22, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service will follow promptly at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Cycadia Cemetery in Tarpon Springs. 

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, New Port Richey; American Heart Association(heart.org) or the American Diabetes Association(diabetes.org) in dedication to John.

My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I have many fond memories of you and John while we were in Greece. He was a fine family man that cared and loved his family. Stay strong during this difficult time and take care. May His Memory Be Eternal.
