Although we hadn’t seen Mike very much since he moved to Florida, we did hear from him from time to time; and he remained one of our dearest friends. We are so very sad to hear of his passing and we know how very much he will be missed. His enormous personality, huge laugh, willingness to be there for his friends, and, of course, the jokes will always remain in our memory. Rest in peace, “big Mike”!

I’m so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. He was such a fun, kind and witty guy to work with. He taught me so much when I was learning to scrub open heart. We had a very close team at Bayonet Point and I miss them all. My condolences to his beautiful wife Debbie.
