Jozef “Joe”  Wegrzyn, age 70, passed away on Tuesday October 22nd, 2024, peacefully after a year long battle with lung cancer.

Born in Jaslo, Poland, to Edward and Jozefa Wegrzyn, he moved to the United States in the summer of 1974. Originally residing in Irvington, NJ and then Union, NJ.  Joe spent 44 years in New Jersey before moving to Tampa, FL in 2018. Joe worked as a machinist for Paramount Machine & Tool Corporation in Fairfield, NJ for 35 years. Everyone loved Joe and all his constant joking.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Elzbieta (nee Jemielity); one daughter, Catherine Lopez and her husband Raul; one son, Edward Wegrzyn and his wife Louise; 3 grandchildren, Hailey, Addison and Eliana.  In Poland, he is survived by three brothers Leszek, Krzysztof and Wojciech Wegrzyn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
