May 01, 1941~June 29, 2022

Judith A.Waddell (Buhrman), age 81, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022. She was born on May 1st, 1941 in Aurora, Illinois to father Marvin Buhrman and mother Ruth Buhrman, and was a sister to her brother, Thomas Buhrman.
Judy attended high school in Aurora, Illinois, graduating in 1959 from Madonna Catholic High School. At the age of 16, Judy met Richard Francis Waddell and married him at the age of 20. That union brought four beautiful children to this earthly world- Thomas Waddell (Catherine), Timothy Waddell (Wendy), Tamara Waddell, and Terrence Waddell (Jennifer). The union of Judy and Richard additionally welcomed three granddaughters to the Waddell family Kaylee Waddell, Amanda Waddell, and Jessica Waddell.
Throughout Judy’s life, she spent her days early on as a dental assistant. After the children were grown, she started a self-employed residential cleaning business which led to the many friendships she remained close with throughout her life. She was avid in her pursuit to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, as she attended both Calvary Worship and Praise Family Worship. Her unwavering commitment and strength of faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ were reflected in her love for her family and those around her.
Judy spent many hours each day devoted to her greenhouse, full of her favorite flowers: Orchids. Additionally, she enjoyed her weekend sleepovers with her grandchildren, which were known for her toy trips and homemade popcorn. She enjoyed bonding with each grandchild throughout their time together.
Judy now gracefully watches the friends and family who dearly loved her on Earth, from Heaven above, alongside her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her preceding mother, father, and brother. She knows that her family and friends will be by her side again one day, but for now, we continue her memory here on Earth by spreading the gospel and loving each other as Jesus loves us.

Judy was a champion for the Lord and a blessing both to our church, Praise Assembly of God and to me as her pastor for many years. Heaven is richer for her entry. Prayers for her wonderful family
