Judy Lane Kovalchick (Thomas), 77, of Tarpon Springs, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 19, 2022. She was born on April 24, 1944, to Maudie and Clair Thomas. Judy is survived by her longtime partner, Charles Nead, of 20 years. She was a devoted and loving mother to her three children, Diane (Thomas) Ulicne, Janice (David) Hoke, and Robert (Donna) Kovalchick. Judy had several grandchildren, Chris (Janeen) Ulicne, Allyson (Jim) Valentovich, Ashley (Ryan) Pechunka, Jessica Hoke, Katlyn Hoke, Emily Hoke, Hannah Hoke, Cole Kovalchick, and Ally Anthony. Judy also had four great-grandchildren, Brianna Valentovich, Noah Valentovich, Cayde Ulicne, and Levi Pechunka. She was a dear sister of Pam, Robbie, Norma and the late Bunk, Fran, and Clare.
Judy was very active in working with seniors and veterans in the community. She enjoyed traveling to see her family, often spending entire summers with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. With her beautiful smile and energy, Judy could light up a room. To know Judy was to love her. She was greatly loved by her family and friends. Her presence and kindness are already missed, but she will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.

Mom, Thank you for being a wonderful mother, grandmother and GiGi to our family. Our hearts are broken as we try to go through our days without you. We know we have a special angel looking over us now and I pray we are together again some day. We will love you forever. You will never be forgotten. I know you are in a better place now and you never have to be in pain again. Love forever.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Charlie and all Judy’s wonderful family we had the pleasure of meeting. We consider ourselves blessed to have known Judy for the last 6 years. Words cannot describe the wonderful, thoughtful and giving person she was. She will be greatly missed. Again, our sincere condolences.
