Justin Bird

May 14, 1998~February 23, 2023

Justin D. Bird, 24, of New Port Richey Florida, passed away on February 23rd 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 14th 1998 in Wausau, Wisconsin.

He is survived by parents, Jodi (Todd) Jones and David (Lisa) Bird; brother, Devin Bird; half sister, Angela Piegari; step-brother, Alec Jones; step-sister, Calissa Jones; grandparents, Norman Greenberg and Linda Perlow. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents Joan (Nanny) and Ed (Poppy).

Despite living the majority of his life in Florida he was a loyal fan of the Packers. That dedication and honor speaks to his character as a brother, son, nephew, grandson and friend. Prior to the car accident on December 10th, Justin was a vibrant 24 year old that loved spending time with his friends and family. He was an experimental chef, an avid bowler, and to everyone that new him… kind of a goofball.

Justin received his bachelor’s degree through hard-work and perseverance and was employed as an accountant at FastMD.

We are celebrating his life on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, 6616 Congress Street, New Port Richey, Florida 34653.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm immediately followed by a service.

Justin was a great friend of mine. Always filled will loving energy and kindness. He always wanted to include me to play football and sports with the guys. Throughout high school he was always making jokes and kept a smile on my face. We where in band together and through that, him and I and a few others developed a brotherhood that carried past high school. Justin worked and went to school, he was so bright and well spoken it’s so unreal that he’s not here anymore but his words will always carry on and resonate with me.
