Kathy Lamb was born on the 9th of February, 1951.
The majority of her early life was spent in the Appalachian Regions of North Carolina and West Virginia; the influence of this region would inform both her tastes in music and décor throughout the remainder of her life. Kathy completed her undergraduate education in music at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC and continued on to receive her Masters in Special Education at USF in Tampa, FL.
After her decision to seek employment at Anclote Elementary in the rapidly developing Tampa Bay Area, she purchased a home in nearby Holiday, FL. She was an active participant in the home church meetings of what would eventually grow into the Countryside Christian Center in Clearwater, FL, often playing the piano during worship services.
It was during one of these meetings that she met her future husband, Geoffrey Harris. They were married in 1987 and would go on to have three children: Matthew (1988), Martha (1989), and Mark (1999). She is survived by all her children and husband.
She left behind a legacy of faith, hospitality, and charitable goodwill.
