November 15, 1937~May 04, 2025

Andy passed on peacefully in New Port Richey, FL on May 4th; he was 87.

Born November 15, 1937 in Greenwich, CT; the second child and only son to the late Stacia Josephinea (Pulchaski) and Andrew Paul Krajewski Sr.

Buddy grew up in the hamlet of Cos Cob, and following his graduation from Greenwich High School in 1956; served in the United Sates Navy for four years on the USS Tawara (CB 40) as a seaman first class.

After his stint in the Navy, he worked for American Machine and Foundry, and Palmer-Shannon Electric. From there, he transitioned into the IBEW, where he served as proud union journeyman electrician for Local 501 (melded into Local 3 North) for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and St. James the Apostle Church in Port Richey, FL

On April 29, 1961, he wed the love of his life, Jane Helen Smolinski, at the Holy Name Church in Stamford, CT. Together, they bore five children.

Andy is survived by his wife of 64 years. Daughter Laura Ann Riordan (and son-in-law Sean) of New Port Richey, FL, and their children: Alexander Nicholas Andrew, Morgan Elizabeth, and Lindsi Julia. Daughter Susan Jane Plunkett of Stamford, CT. Son Douglas Andrew of Stamford, CT and Holiday, FL. (Daughter-in-law) Jaime Lynn Krajewski of Monroe, CT, and her sons Robert Alan and Zachery Adam. Several great-grandchildren, godchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A sister Marcia Sabanski of Greenwich, CT; and a few cousins. And last, but not least, his dog Chick.

He is predeceased by his parents; as well as two sons: Kenneth John, and Robert Charles.

Buddy enjoyed life. He was a people person, who would pretty much would talk to anyone. He enjoyed his garden, his family, fishing; and feeding squirrels and birds. He was an avid ticket scratcher, always hoping for that big winner; and would never turn down an invitation to go to the casino.

In leu of flowers: donations can be made the Boy Scouts of America or The Navy-Marines Corp Relief Society.

Services will be determined later.
