It is with deep sadness that I attempt to write this tribute. I know that you have lived a beautiful and long life but you are still missed and it was still shocking to hear. You are a part of my earliest and fondest memories and will always be. As I grew up, and had the occasions to live in the home of your parents I recall your laughter, your love of reading the newspaper, leaving for work and returning from work, your humble/calm spirit and soft spoken voice and always welcoming. It has been a while since I had seen you but the most recent conversation I had with you about your daughter felt as though we had never lost touch. You sound like the Uncle Chaplin that I had known all these years.
It was a privileged to have you as an uncle to my brothers Chris & Allan which meant so much to me. You were such an important part of their lives and to so many others. If only we could have had you here longer but, I know that your time was well lived while you were here with us.
I know that you will be in a place of love surrounded by your daughter Denise and all the others that have gone before you. May you rest in peace always!

With heart felt sympathy and deep sadness that we write this tribute on behalf of the Anderson and Walters family.
I remember you as a little boy running and so energetic.
Your father “ Uncle Lan “was so attached to you.
Rest in peace dear cousin.
