Leopold Niedzielski Jr.

April 06, 1934~September 14, 2022

Leopold Niedzielski Jr. was born in America, just after the depression, to immigrant European parents.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Delores Niedzielski; daughters Lisa Corbellini and Linda D’Amico; grandson Michael D’Amico I; as well as his sister Marie Migliaccio and family.

Growing up in the Bronx, Leo was a member of the Buccaneer’s Club whereby he met some of his closest friends for life, particularly Gerry Bickman and Robert Swedroe.  Leo attended Fordham University for real estate.  He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in several positions for almost 39 years.  Leo was an avid reader, and enjoyed music and having great discussions.

He was a simple man that liked to play with his many tools and watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Please donate to the American Lung Association or my Dad’s favorite charity to the Veteran’s.

I will miss my Dad and am heartbroken at the moment. At the same time, I know he lived a long life and is resting in peace. When God calls, we surrender in joy and acceptance. During the pandemic, we started doing the Crossword Jumble and Jumble puzzles everyday. It is a routine I would like to continue in his honor. But most of all I will miss my Dad’s honesty and humor. My Florida visits with Dad and Lola will forever be cherished.
