Kenny, Maria and family,
My sincere condolences for he loss of your your cherished Mother and Grandmother.
She was an absolutely lovey lady. I fondly remember the wonderful time my family and I had with her in 2009 for my 40th birthday in Disney World, then my sisters 40th in Long Island at you home, and boat ride.
She was a great conversationalist, and was enjoyed by both young and old. We were fortunate to have spent multiple vacations, and celebrations with her. We always looked forward to hearing her stories. She was warm, friendly and incredibly welcoming of “Maria & Kenny’s Canadian cousins”.
A difficult time for you all, and I am so very sorry. It isn’t easy losing a parent, grandmother or wife at any age. My condolences also to Mr. Leydon (Sal) and the entire Leydon family.
With much love and sympathy,
Joanna Biondi – Winnipeg, Canada

Mrs. Leyden was a wonderful woman and the things I remember best about her were the delicious minestrone soup she made for Bob and I when we walked home from the ski area next door and needed something warm to fill our stomachs. She was also very proficient in making Glug, a spiced rum which might have had it’s origins somewhere in Scandinavia. She always had a smile on her face and made you feel welcome when visiting. I hadn’t seen her in many years but she will be missed by all who were fortunate to have made her friendship. God bless,
