Lon C. Pettis, age 73, of New Port Richey, Florida died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at his home. He was born December 14, 1947, in Burbank, California son of the late Lon and Rita (nee Ludwig) Pettis.

Mr. Pettis was a retired Quality Control Manager in the manufacturing of medical devices. He was a Viet Nam Era veteran of the U.S. Navy and received his honorable discharge in 1969.

Lon Pettit married Marisel Guilloty and she survives in New Port Richey. He is further survived by a son, Alexander (Heidi) Pettis, Rancho Cucamonga, California; two grandchildren Leila and Rylee; one brother Mark Pettis, Houston, Texas; his mother-in-law, Mildred Barnecett, Puerto Rico; one nephew, Edibal Guilloty and a niece, Valeria Guilloty.

A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Lon Pettis, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Dobies Funeral Home, 6616 Congress Street, New Port Richey, Florida.

Father Frank Creamer will preside and Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy.
