Marcella Sonia Pietri Rubino fell asleep in death on July 3, 2024. She leaves behind daughters Denise Marcel Messineo, son-in-law Thomas Messineo Jr., Lorraine Pantin, Deborah Ann Lucas, Tina Samnik, sons Pascal Carlos Petri III and John Thomas Petri, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was immersed as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Clarksville, Tennessee on August 29, 1964. After moving to New York, years later she married her second husband, John Rubino and this union was blessed with a baby girl Marcella Lisa Rubino. The family eventually moved from New York to Florida, where they faithfully attended the Holiday Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a loving, generous, mother, and very devoted to her God, Jehovah. She believed firmly in the resurrection hope as it is mentioned at John 5:28,29. She will be dearly missed, but we hope to be reunited with her soon in God’s Kingdom.

My beautiful great grandma! Strong stock, strong Puerto Rican bones! And beautiful young skin. I only met you once or twice. But I remember her bright smile, her blanket she had wrapped around her. She had a glowing personality. How much our family will miss her. RIP beautiful 💚

Many prayers are with the family. Marcella was a wonderful sister who loved Jehovah from the heart. We had many spiritual discussions. She always had a smile and a kind word. She is in Jehovah’s memory and will come back to the real life.

Aloha Oe Grandma! Until we meet again. You’re just as beautiful as Paradise. We love and miss you greatly, and the little kids love your photos and stories. I know you’re dancing, smiling, and laughing now. We will never forget you. Hug little grandma and Priscilla for us.
