Marjorie “Margie” Haight, 82, of  Clearwater, Florida, passed away on February 24^th, 2023.  She is predeceased by brothers Kenneth Haight, Fred Haight, Charles Haight, and sister, Mildred Spiegel. She is survived by her brother, Wilbur Haight of Austin, Arkansas, and her dear friend Janice “Jan” Buscemi of Clearwater, Florida.

Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York, Margie had a very successful career at IBM in their nearby East Fishkill, New York location.  She retired after more than 25 years, having achieved the level of Senior Engineering Laboratory Technician.  She moved to Florida in 1998.

Margie was passionate about animals and the saving of endangered species and made many donations to such organizations as the World Wildlife Federation, worldwildlife.org.  She also cared about rescued animals at such organizations as the Humane Society of Pinellas, humanepinellas.org.

Margie was a very generous person and a good friend.  She will be sorely missed.
