I am truly devastated. I had the pleasure of working closely with Mark for a good 20 years. Mark was always helpful, professional and willing to learn. We are poorer for this loss of an immensely talented man.

Jenny –
You posted the perfect picture of Mark, which is exactly what I picture him doing right now. We shared some wonderful laughter through the years, and I will never forget his sense of humor. I know God has welcomed Mark home and in that, take comfort. We love you, Jenny, and you know we are here for you always.
Love you,
Aunt Patti and Uncle Mike

It is a sad day when there is a World without Mark DeRaedt in it. He was my Friend , my Teacher, someone I looked up to with so much respect for the Knowledge he had. When you really knew Mark, you always knew there was the feisty Mark, and there was the most Kind, Gentle Caring Mark. The Man that would be there for a Friend in need always. I will Truely treasure the time that I got to know this man in my life , there were so many good times. I can hear that Laugh now as I write this.
God Blessed me with time spent with Mark.
See you on the other side.

Markie,
My heart is broken. 😢💔 I looked forward to many lunches and dinners now that I retired. 😢
You were the hardest working and best person I ever worked with. I am so glad our paths crossed and we became friends. I know you loved your family dearly and pray their memories of you give them
peace. Till we meet again.

I cannot believe you are gone. I learned so much from you that I use every day. I so enjoyed working with you all these years. You were a very fun guy who knew how to truly live life. You will forever be in the hearts of Planning & Development but most of all the “Zoning” family. We miss you and will love you forever.
Till we meet again, say hi to my honey for me.

Can’t believe he’s gone. I’ve known Mark since 10th Grade, and we quickly became best friends through high school, college, and years to come. We talked about everything together, fixed many cars together, saw a zillion concerts together, shared plenty of laughs together, and a few years, as well. Sadly, we lost touch over the last decade or so, but we did have a chance to have one last heart-to-heart talk, admitting our regret for losing touch. I love ya, Man!

Words fail to express just how much Mark meant to me and how deeply he will be missed. His intelligence, dedication, talents, and gentle heart are just some aspects that made him one of the best among us. He was like family and I will miss not being able to go grab a drink or see a concert with him again. I won’t ever forget his laugh or his smile that brightened up a room. He has passed along so much knowledge, so many lessons, and so much love that I doubt we will ever stop telling stories of our brilliant and wonderful friend. Some people enter our lives and have such a profound impact on us – Mark was one of these people. Love you!

I was so saddened to hear of your passing. You deserved to have a long and happy retirement, enjoying the many things that made you happy. It was a privilege to work with you and to call you my friend. Although, we didn’t see each other often, I always knew you were on the other side of the phone if I needed anything. You had a good heart and will be missed by all who knew you. My sincere condolences go out to Jeannette, your dad, and all of your family. Rest in peace, Markie Mark.
