Mary Maranto, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2024 at the age of 84.
Born in Tunisia, Africa, on January 4th, 1940, to parents Virginia Colosseo & Andrea Colosseo. Mary Maranto will be remembered for the unconditional love and loyalty for her family. She always enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing, playing cards, social events, picnics with friends & family, listening to Italian music, traveling, & watching scary movies. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear, and her warm embrace.
Mary is survived by her loving husband,ย Rosario Maranto of 61 years; Children, Carla Lessa & Sergio Maranto; Grandchildren: Corey Dykes, Tiffany Dean, Alyssa Maranto; Great-Grandchildren: Tyson Ayotte, Jaiden Dean and Jonathan Dean.
A memorial service will be held on November 22nd 2024 at 10:30am at Dobies funeral home 6616 Congress Street, New Port Richey, FL 34653.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation are greatly appreciated.

A beautiful woman ,with a heart of gold! My heart goes out to the familly who has lost her! She is always and forever in the hearts of those who knew her , I am glad that I had a chance to meet her, even for a short period of time! I will always remember her as the beautiful , graceful woman with a smile that lights up the room!
