In Loving Memory
Mary Margaret Dunn (Crocker)
June 11, 1931 – August 22, 2020
Mary “Marge†Dunn, daughter of the late William “Frank†Crocker and Sarah Stanford Crocker passed away on August 22, 2020. She is survived by Edward “Ed†Dunn, her loving husband of 61 years. Her life will be cherished forever by her daughter Deborah (Falco), her granddaughter Stephanie (Falco-Larson), her 2 great-grandchildren Everly and Rocco as well as her son-in-law Louis and Stephanie’s husband Brett.
Marge was born in St. John’s Newfoundland Canada and emigrated to the United States in the mid-fifties. She became the quintessential New Yorker maintaining homes in Queens, Long Island and Florida. Her career at Citibank spanned more than 3 decades. She and Ed retired to Florida in 2016.
Marge loved her family and never forgot her Newfoundland heritage. She visited Newfoundland and other parts of Canada frequently to spend time with family members that continue to live there. She will be missed by her brothers Jim, Ted, Gary, and Sylvester as well as her sisters Deborah and Karen. She is predeceased by her brothers Francis, Cyril and John and her sister Teresa (Patsy). She will be especially missed by her beloved stepmother, Esther (Essie).
Marge enjoyed dancing, exercising, and traveling. She was an avid reader and a crossword aficionado. She loved playing cards with her friends in the Summertree community in Florida, especially her sister and brother in law, Rosemary and Anthony. Marge was a devout Roman Catholic and frequently prayed the rosary.
Her soul will be prayed for during the 7:30 AM mass on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at St. Michael the Archangel Parish located at 8014 State Road 52, Hudson Florida.
The formal mass and rite of Christian burial will take place on a later date.
In lieu of donations or flowers, as Mary would have wished, please be kind to one another and be content with your lives.

Eddy, Debbie and family. We were so sorry and saddened to hear of Marge’s passing. We will always remember her visits to Newfoundland and were always excited to hear her speak with so much energy. Marge was always caring and loving and interested in how everybody was doing. On one occasion about 20 years ago we had a great family trip to some cabins in Swift Current NL during which she met Moya’ s parents. They really enjoyed each others company and she always inquired how they were doing whenever we spoke. A small but true testimony of her loving and caring nature. There are many other great memories that will always be remembered and never forgotten. Marge will be dearly missed by all of her Newfoundland family. May she Rest In Peace

Our beautiful sister and my second mother! I have so many fond memories of all the summers spent in Greenpoint, Brooklyn; Sunnyside,Queens; and Mastic, Long Island. She set an example for me at a very young age; I have always marvelled at her vibrant ability to light up a room. She taught me how to “bargain with the guy in the street†(aka NYC street vendors). She brought fashionable matching outfits for myself and Debbie before catching the train home from the city after a hard days work. There’d always be some sort of interesting story about the train ride home and her beloved Eddy, would have her hi-ball mixed and ready to go. While she was a true New Yorker her heart always longed for her Newfoundland family and we longed for her. Love you forever and may your soul Rest In Peace!
