Melissa Lopez, 43, of New Port Richey passed away unexpectedly on March 18th, 2022.

Melissa was born and raised in Massachusetts, lived in New Hampshire for most of her adult life, and moved to Florida five years ago.  She recently attended the Benes Academy of Beauty but decided to put her career on hold and work temporarily as a caregiver for her dear friend and mentor, Susan Krause.

Melissa enjoyed singing and always had a tune in her head. She was a good-natured, funny person with a quick wit and loud laugh.  She lit up every room she entered.

Melissa was a loving wife and aunt and will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and all those who loved her. She was predeceased by her father Emil; her sister Angelina Dufresne Caron; and her brothers Angel, Eric, and Kevin. She is survived by her husband Erik; her mother Irene Rodier; her sisters Shirley Crawford and Crystal Alvarado; and her brothers Javier (Amber) Cabrera, Davis Cavalier, Salvador Cavalier, Larry Crawford, and Michael Crawford; and many nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Beau.
