Micah P. Bavol

Micah P. Bavol

January 29, 2001~October 19, 2024

Our beloved Micah P. Bavol tragically left us on October 19, 2024. He was born on January 29, 2001 in Torrington, CT and was a graduate of Dixie Hollins High School in 2019. To know Micah was to experience love and kindness. He had a gentle spirit, and his devotion to his children and family was clear in everything he did. Micah had a unique gift for bringing joy to others, always ready with his playful humor to brighten someone’s day. He lived life with a carefree spirit, often acting on impulse without overthinking. While there were times he found himself in situations that might have caused trouble, his charm and humor made it hard to do anything but laugh and enjoy the moment with him. His presence was unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Micah is preceded in death by his grandfather, Leo Bavol (2015) and Great Grandmother, Halina  Stary (2016)

Micah leaves behind his mother, Ania Bavol; step-parent, Demetrea Hardman; and Ania’s loving companion, Sean Forrest. His children Kaylianna Sanchez (Rebekah Sanchez) and Arlo Bavol-Marzano (Emma Marzano). His grandmothers Grace Bavol and Wanda Garceau. His uncle Chris Bavol. His aunts Michelle Garceau and Megan Garceau. His cousins Monica  Piwowarczyk, Lydia Piwowarczyk, Robert Bavol and Sebastian Bavol. His girlfriend Tifany Fernandes. All his surrogate mother’s, who played a pivotal role in shaping the man he became, and his friends, who brought immense happiness to his life.

Bro where do I begin? You were my kid brother growing up, I know your mom absolutely hated me at one point, then I became the only thing you could do when you were grounded. I miss when you would leave your bike out at your grandmas so I’d know to knock. Id be greeted by your mom or grandfather who knew exactly why I was there. We go do god knows what for hours and return later than expected. I’d know some excellent polish food was waiting for us that your grandma grace whipped up. I miss going on random sidequests with your uncle to help your great grandma. I miss leaning about all sorts of cool things that I’d miss out on if I didn’t know you because I was no where near as cool as you. I hope you know I’m proud of who you became and I’m just sad you didn’t get to spread your silly goofy vibes more than you got to. The legends of you will never be forgotten. Things just aren’t the same without you here.
Gone but not forgotten

I met Micah when I worked with Ania as a PO. I believe he was around 6-7. Ania and I stayed in contact through the years and I witnessed Micah growing up on FB. Ania you raised a hell of a man. None of this is fair and my heart goes out to you and your family. I have no doubt that he will continue to keep watch on his babies and you. May he RIP.

He would want us to laugh and joke and meme; cry not. He was a hell of a man. I’ve yet to meet a more robust individual.

What can I even say. You beautiful smart kind loving man. We were all so blessed to have you for these 23 years. When you were young you taught us how to be free you always followed your own guidance and you would make us bust out into laughter. You were our crew baby, raised by a vagabond group of lesbians and you made each and every one of us proud. You were an excellent dad and your heart always shined through. I love you so much. May you rest in peace Micah.

I feel honored to have known Micah, and got to watch him grow up into the amazing young man, and father, that he was. A life cut far too short, we are better for having known him and must strive to keep his memory alive 🖤 All my love, thoughts and condolences to Ania, his family and most of all, his children. May they never question that they were his world. RIP Micah, we love you.
