To Mike’s family,
Like Don Hommel, I played football with Mike at Westlake High School in Thornwood. Before that, from about 4th through 6th or 7th grades we were close friends and spent many hours at each other’s houses playing military games, baseball and football. Sadly, we lost touch after high school when I moved out of the New York area and only reconnected at high school reunions. As I don’t need to tell you, he was a kind and gentle person, as is clearly evident in his face in the photo on this site. Please accept my deepest condolences. Mike’s soul is in my prayers.
