Thank you for your friendship, company and support for all this time, my friend Michael. I, and many others, will never forget the contributions you left in our lives. You were always there for us, whether it was to talk about the mundane things in life, or more pressing issues, your patience, kindness, intelligence and loyalty was unmatched. You did more than your best, always, despite all the difficulties, including helping others in difficult times, even when you were in a tough spot yourself.

I wish we could’ve had the opportunity to meet in person at least once, but perhaps one day we will, in the better and more peaceful realm that you inhabit now, my friend. Meanwhile, we will always remember you and do our very best to help others like you did, and try to fulfil our potential to the fullest like I wish you could’ve had the opportunity to do.

Thank you for everything Michael, farewell.

I’d say he was like a bother. But even that didn’t compare to the level of friendship we had between us. I miss him, he was such a kind and caring friend.

I remember Michael when we would sit down and talk about medical stuff. He was always in love with Ancient Rome and the emperors. I could sit there and listen to him for hours and hours at a time. He would always be there if I ever needed anything in my life and I tried to be there for him as much as I could. For the longest time, what felt like forever, we were in love and I still love him to this day. The day I heard of his death a part of me got ripped out of my chest and out of my soul. I love you Michael and I’m going to miss you. I promise to live for the both of us
