Michael Martin

October 26, 1951~December 18, 2022
Michael George Martin Sr, 71 of Port Richey, Florida, went into the arms of Jesus, completely healed on December 18th, 2022, at 9:40 am. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Maxine Martin; brothers Ronald Barnes and Gary Martin; as well as his his loving wife Diane Martin of 38 wonderful years. He is survived by his children: Tracy (Michael) Woodin, Michelle (Jeff) Brewer, and Michael Jr (Patricia) Martin; siblings Bobcat Martin, Joe Martin, Gloria Kwaterski, Richard Barnes; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
When he was just 13 years old, he started working in the concrete field and built an amazing reputation and knowledge of the concrete industry. He was one of the best Concrete Finishers in Pasco County. Michael married his teen sweetheart Diane in 1968. He was an avid golfer and won a Mercury Sable by hitting a hole-in-one. He enjoyed fishing and catching some whoppers and also bowled and played softball in his free time. As most of you know, he enjoyed his Busch beer and scratch-off tickets right until the very end. He loved his family more than anything!
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gulf Side Hospice in Land O’ Lakes where he had an amazing team of nurses, especially Julie and Alicia. We will have a celebration of his life at a later date.

Pop,
I don’t know where to start. You have always been like a second dad to me when I joined your family more than 30 years ago. I married your son and we had 2 beautiful children together. One that is named after you and the other that was your wild child that grew up and took care of you. Thank you for allowing all of this to happen. I love and miss you daily and will see you again. Give everyone up there on heaven a kiss for me. Love you Pop.

Love your favorite daughter in law Trish
