Michael Scorca, Sr., 76, of New Port Richey, FL passed on January 11, 2023. He was a loving, gentle, sweet, and charming soul. He was born in The Bronx, New York in 1946 to Grace and Michael Scorca, Sr. As a teen he served ice cream to the community working at the local Carvel Ice Cream, after high school he joined the United States Air Force and served until he was honorably discharged, and then went on to become a NYC Police Officer. In the early 1970’s he moved to Florida and in 1977 he traveled to the Philippines to marry the love of his life, Jorgeta. They built their home and life in New Port Richey.
Michael is survived by his wife Jorgeta Scorca, his sons Vince Scorca and wife Theavy, Michael Scorca and wife Gina, Chris Scorca and wife Jeanine, and Randy Scorca and wife Cheyenne; as well as 12 grandchildren. This devoted husband, caring father, and supportive friend will be missed. Rest peacefully and watch over us.
