The Good Lord called Michele “Mickey” R. Laskowski home on March 3rd, 2024.

She was born in Batavia, N.Y., and spent her childhood in LeRoy, N.Y. and Port Jefferson Station, N.Y. After graduation from high school, Michele completed her B.S. degree from Southampton College (LIU). Afterward, she entered the healthcare field where she became a Medical Records Coding Auditor. Michele and her husband, Ed, raised their three children in Virginia Beach, VA. before finally settling in Trinity, FL.

Mickey, as she was known by close friends and family, enjoyed playing baseball and other games with her children, and making others feel good with her warm smile and quick humor.  She loved to spend time at the beach, playing ball with her dogs, going bowling, gardening, and watching comedies & home improvement shows.

Michele is survived by her loving husband Edward J. Laskowski; daughter, Jessica M. Zuckerman and husband, Jack of Traverse City, MI., son, Edward Laskowski III of Safety Harbor, FL,, son, Nicholas Laskowski of Safety Harbor, FL., mother, Virginia Milliman of Mt. Sinai, N.Y.; sister, Diana and husband Ted Bartell of Mt. Sinai, N.Y.; brother, Michael Milliman of Mt. Sinai, N.Y.; sister, Patricia and husband Kent Marcuson of Williamsburg, VA.; three grandsons, Noah, Jamie, and Caleb Zuckerman, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Dobies Funeral Home, 8825 Old C.R. 54 in New Port Richey. A funeral Mass will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in New Port Richey. Interment will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

I will hold dear the special memories of my beautiful best friend from high school who lived down the block from me. Mickey was a true friend and will never be forgotten.
