Milton J. Pacheco

March 23, 1935~February 22, 2021

Milton J. Pacheco “Checo” 85 of Hudson passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021. He was born in Falmouth, Massachusetts. March 23, 1935 and was the son of the late Angelo and Brazelena Pacheco. He served his country in the United States Air Force as a Flight Line Maintenance Sergeant and was later honorably discharged on October 29th, 1961.

Milton is survived by his loving wife Cathy Pacheco, daughter Ramona and her husband Monty English of Asheville, N.C., sons Gary Pacheco and his wife Regina of Knoxville, TN., Michael Pacheco of Nashville, TN., sisters Margaret, Marie and Jane, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandson Cory English, six sisters and one brother.

Milton was a wonderful human being. He so loved his family and had friends that lasted a life-time. His love of cooking was manifested by all those who came to his home and shared meals with him and his wife Cathy. His home… a place where all who came felt welcomed by his warmth and generosity.

Milton enjoyed playing golf, smoking a good cigar, drinking the “best” liquors from around the world, and boy did he love his Tennessee Volunteers. Just ask Cathy… everywhere you look you’ll see orange!

His love for music was event in his playing of the harmonica, the guitar, bongos, and the many days of listening to his favorite artists: Willie Nelson, Roberto Carlos, Lightnin Hopkins, Carlos Santana and the many voices of generations passed.

His interaction with individuals in his neighborhood gave Milton the opportunity to serve as President of Glenwood Village in 2014, where he lived with his wife Cathy. Presiding over meetings of the board and members, and acting as a liaison with management to carry out the directives of the board, was something he did with pride.

Milton will certainly be missed by the many that loved him throughout his life. Rest in Peace dear sweet man.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
