Muriel Doris (Morrell) Myrato of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on October 26, 2022 at Gulfside Hospice Center in Zephyrhills, FL.

Muriel was born on April 9, 1931 to Ferdinand and Elsie (Loeber) Morrell, in Roosevelt, NY.

After graduating from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, NY in 1948, Muriel worked at Doubleday in Garden City, NY, where she met Jack Myrato of Oyster Bay, NY.

Muriel and Jack married in 1952 and went on to have three children: Glenn Arthur in 1954; Deborah Sue in 1959, and John Arthur, Jr. in 1967.

Muriel was pre-deceased by son Glenn in 1977, and husband Jack in 2004.

She is survived by daughter Deborah Cantwell of New Port Richey, FL; son John (Lillian) of Granada Hills, CA; two grandchildren: Glenn Richard Cantwell (Christine) of Smyrna, GA, and Alyssa Nicole Myrato of Granada Hills, CA; and sister Shirley Muller of Islip Terrace, NY.
