Nick and my daughter were boyfriend/girlfriend for three years. He treated my daughter and the entire family with kindness and respect. We are devastated by his loss. We will all miss him tremendously. May his family find strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I am lucky to have known Nick through my best friend, Christina. He loved her with everything he had, which was a joy to see. I am heartbroken on his family’s, Christina’s, and his friends behalf’s that he left us so soon, but I am eternally grateful for the memories, laughter (so, SO many laughs), and love that he is leaving behind. May your memory be eternal Nick! I pray for peace and comfort to all those that are feeling this profound loss.

A really great officer who always helped us when we had a problem at our business. We were always happy when he was sent to respond to a call. Nick was professional, courteous, and friendly and left us way too soon. Rest easy Nick.

Nick was always such a positive presence on scene. I work in EMS and ran with him frequently at work. He always assured mine and my partners safety. He was such a kind, funny, and all around great person to be around.
My sincerest condolences go out to his family, the community, and work family on this tragic loss.
You will be missed Wood, fly high
