Niki Skokos age 89, Beloved mother,YiaYia (Grandmother) and Great YiaYia, passed away peacefully in Tampa, Florida, on March 14, 2023. She was born in Sparta, Greece, April 1933. She loved her family, Greek Orthodox faith, and Greek traditions. She leaves behind two children Tom And Helen, two granddaughters Megan (husband Andrew), and Christina ( husband Dan), and 5 great grandchildren, Alexandra and Matthew, Elena, Olivia and Sophia, that she loved very much. She was a long time resident of Astoria, NY, and moved to Florida during her final few years to be closer to her family. She loved to cook and was a great baker of Greek cookies. She always said to love everyone.
The funeral will be a private ceremony, with close family members and friends. Funeral service will be in St. George in New Port Richey Florida on Monday 20 March 2023.
