Norma died peacefully in her sleep after a short illness, with her son Ken by her side listening to music she loved.
She is now with her daughter Cathy, who she missed dearly, and her husband Jim, the love of her life. She is enjoying a big family reunion in heaven with them, her sister, brother, mother, and in-laws.

My mom-in-law always welcomed me into the family. I will miss her so much! Ken pretty much touch base with her every day. Whenever family would visit she would make everyone feel very much at home. She was a very tiny French woman but boy…. she had a powerful way of getting her message across to what she was trying to convey. When my husband and his siblings were young she took karate. And demonstrated on them a few times🤪 she was always telling everyone how much she loved them. She could never say it enough. Thank you mom for bringing my husband into the world so I can enjoy him. I will love you always. One of your favorite daughters in law Kathy

Dear Chapman Family,
I’ve known Norma for years and when I think of her I always see her laughing and enjoying her family around her. She was a force to be reckoned with, but was also very fun. I’m sure she will be missed by everyone. Rest in peace.

This was my Aunt Norma. I had many, many fond childhood memories of the frequent family reunions that the Blondin and Chapman families had in Pittsfield and Dalton, MA. To my cousins, Terry, Sandy, Kenny, Bobby, and Ronny (and their families), I grieve with you at the loss of your mother. Aunt Norma was a petite woman, but her loud boisterous laugh made her the center of attraction at our family get togethers. I will miss her but will always have my loving memories of her.
