Norman Condon, of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Merrimac, Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at Gulfside Hospice. He was 75. He was born on June 15th, 1947 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He attended Pentucket Regional High School. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the Air Force. He was predeceased by his first wife Deborah Johnston and his second wife Barbara Bednar. He leaves two daughters Andrea Baker, Michele Penta and husband Chris; and grandchild Nathan Baker. He leaves his two sisters Sheila Bickum of Hampstead, New Hampshire, and Grace Gilmore of Merrimac Massachusetts; one niece Andrea Bickum; and three nephews David Bickum, Michael Gilmore and Richard Gilmore Jr.

He worked as a mechanic, cable installer, and carpenter. He was a member of the Merrimac Fire Department for 35 years and retired as captain. His passions were cooking, boating, and skiing. While he was a member of the National Ski Patrol he also volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics ski team. Norman’s friendly disposition and generous personality endeared him to all.

I am so sorry to hear of his loss my dad PA was on the fire department with him for many years I’m sure they shared the kitchen a time or two for Sunday morning Breakfasts. My family sends their sincere Sympathy to your family.

So sorry for your loss. Norman was just the nicest person and could always make you laugh. He loved his sisters and would do anything for them. He was also an extremely thoughtful son. Rest in peace Norman you will be missed by many.

So sorry to hear Norm passed away. My Aunt Barbara and him really adored each other and were so sweet to be around. I am glad I have many great memories of them.
