Norman Pinfold, D.V.M.
80, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away June 17, 2020.
He was born September 13, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Norman and Ida S. Pinfold. In 1965, Norman graduated The College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. After moving to Floirda, he purchased Tarpon Animal Hospital in 1967, which he successfully operated until he retired. After moving to the Tarpon Springs area, Norman became active in The Freemasons and earned the position of Third Degree Mason. He enjoyed this membership with The Masonic Brotherhood for over 25 years and was a MASTER of the ROYAL SECRET of the 32 Degree of the ANCIENT and ACCEPTED SCOTTISH RITE. He also served as a Director of the Greater Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce during 1973-1975. In addition, Norman also was a member of the Tarpon Springs Rotary Club and the JC Club for many years. He also became a devoted member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Tarpon Springs where he loved singing in the choir.
Norman was predeceased by his parents, Norman G. and Ida S. Pinfold. He is survived by, Louise, his wife of 26 years; his daughters Laura Sullivan (Perry) of Orangevale, CA; Linda Pinfold of Vallejo, CA; his sister Ann Evans of Tallahassee, FL; and granddaughters, Eleanor Sullivan, Hannah Sullivan, and Chloe Sullivan; and stepsons, Robert Bennett (Lisa), USMC Retired, and Wayne Bennett (Rosalie), of Brooksville, Florida.
