It is with great sorrow and heartbreak that our family shares that Paolo Insolia, 48, of Holiday, FL passed from this life unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Born in Minneapolis, MN in 1976 to Margherita and Giovanni Insolia. Paolo grew up in Schiller Park, IL. He was immensely proud of his Italian heritage and loved family more than anything else. Paolo, a bird and fish enthusiast, was smart, loyal, and had an amazing sense of humor. He was creative and loved to write – especially movie scripts. He also never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams, the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although words can never express how special of person he was or how deeply he will be missed, we find comfort in knowing he is now in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Margherita Giovenco Insolia and father, Giovianni Insolia; two sisters, Daniela Arroyo of Matteson, IL and husband, Eustaquio, and Apollonia Hunter of Youngsville, Louisiana and husband, Marshal; three nephews, Aidan Hunter, Malachi Hunter, Kaleb Hunter, and one niece, Dilyana Arroyo; as well as, numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and extended family members. Paolo was preceded in death by his grandparents Apollonia and Giovan Battista Giovenco; and Nina and Paolo Insolia.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 3pm at the Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home – Holiday Chapel, 4910 Bartelt Rd, Holiday, FL 34690
