Retired Lieutenant Commander Paul Thomas Pelzer (Tall Paul) of the US Coast Guard passed on April 19, 2020. Born to Frank and Helen Pelzer of Waterbury CT, born on April 17, 1943. Paul is survived by his wife Lyla, daughters Kimberly Burdette (Dale) and Paula White (Bob), his son Ronald, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Paul was an honorable, strong, compassionate man who truly cared for others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, share words of wisdom and faith and always had a smile on his face and a quick joke to make you laugh. He will be truly missed by all.
