She lived the life that we all dreamed of. She did not want us to bore you by reading a lame eulogy. Therefore, I will tell you the untethered and invigorating story of her life. She was borin in 1954, an amazing era to be able to live through. She went to Woodstock (who would not have loved that time) and said it was awesome; That’s exactly how she lived her entire life! She traveled the entire United States, doing and seeing everything under the sun. She said the clothes, music, gatherings, and people were the best! Would you now that she met and kissed Elvis Presley?! Many ladies dreamt of that, how groovy?! My grandfather was William L. Buckner and he had eyes for Janis Joplin at the same time as my grandmother but my grandmother stole his heart. She went on to meet her second husband, Timothy P. Lincoln in 1988. After meeting him, she continued her free spirited, fun-loving hippie days by traveling the United States in its entirety. Some of their favorite memories were made at the Kentucky Derby, California vineyards and agricultural farms, Nascar Cup Series, carnival and fairgrounds, and numerous tobacco fields. They had a real blast! She was a dreamer at heart and free spirit down to the core. She loved her maxi dresses the most. She was a beautiful warrior even up to her last breath. She and her husband Tim were the traveling entrepreneurs of the world. They made a living selling the most unique of things. She once sold rocks, painted them by hand, and convinced people they were beer rocks. She also sold light-up roses, flower lays, and much more. She was the most proud of her smoothie concession. Her little dogs were her best friends (Chewy, Olliver, and Nina). She loved her family fiercely like the lioness she was. She was proud of being born in August because her astrology sign was a lion. She loved lions and cheetah prints. She was a tiny little fiery women and a force to be reckoned with. Some called her the OG back in Beckley, West Virginia (I wouldn’t know why but we can use our imaginations because that is always fun). She said she hoped she gave you all something to talk about today, ha-ha. She knew that some of you ole birds needed the conversation. I’m Kris by the way and I hope I have left you with her best memories because that was her last request. If uyou knew my Lala then you know that she is probably enjoying reading this with you right now looking over you shoulder. Well, I will leave you with that thought. She said to have a screwdriver for her and wake and bake ya ole hippie friends.

You had the biggest heart in the world. Loved people when nobody else did, even gave strangers a homes, food and clothes and called them your friends. Worried us by doing this all of your life. I love you mom (Lala) and I miss you more than anything. ♥️
