Stamas, Peter G. “Papou”, 94, of Tarpon Springs, fell asleep in the Lord on March 20, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family. After serving his country in WWII. He and his brother, Nick, founded Stamas Boats. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheila; four children, George, Anna, John and Bill; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 11AM with funeral service immediately following at 12PM at St. Nicholas Cathedral, 36 N. Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs.
