| Pete J Coppola of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away at 92 on October 2nd 2023. Peter was born February 24th 1931, to the late Elizabeth Koerner and Peter J Coppola of The Hays area in Pittsburgh PA. Peter was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the US Navy. Graduating from Duquesne University with an educational degree. He continued his education in Florida where he obtained his doctorate degree, he would go on to become the head of education for the state of Florida. Peter spent the last 60 years as a resident in Florida, Peter was preceded by his brother Louis Coppola, Sisters Elizabeth Mancini, Maryann Bonasorte, Niece Roberta Rocco, Nephew Francis (Monk) Bonasorte. Survived by his son Frank Coppola, nephews Charles Bonasorte, George Coppola, Louis Coppola, Peter Coppola, nieces Paula Jean Bryson , Roseann Mancini. Peter was laid to rest with a Veterans memorial service at the Veterans Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Pittsburgh PA. |

Sorry to hear of his passing. Eleanor passed away on April 18 at age 92. Pete also has a granddaughter, Jessica, a grandson, the late Frank J. Coppola, Jr., a great-granddaughter, Jordan, a great-grandson, Noah, and a great-great granddaughter, Poppy. As well as Frank’s wife of 50 years, Debbi.
