Blodgett, Richard Alexander, born July 12, 1939 in Greenfield, Massachusetts to Ralph Blodgett and Margaret Harrington, passed away June 15, 2018. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Rose Mary (Imperati) Blodgett; his son, Richard James Imperati; his granddaughter, Christina Marie Della Cava; brother, Ralph Blodgett; and sister, Linda Ethier.
He is survived by daughter, Rose Anna Blodgett-Wood; his favorite son-in-law, Chester Wellman Wood; grandchildren, Daniel Patrick Blodgett (Jamie Lee), Patrick James Imperati (Ashley) and Nicholas William Wood; his great granddaughters, Jozelyn Rose Della Cava and Riley Marie Blodgett; his great grandson, Preston James Imperati; daughter-in-law, Petra Muller-Imperati; and brother, Leonard Blodgett.
Richard was a carpenter his whole adult life and retired in 1995 as foreman of Rainbow News, Poughkeepsie, NY. He loved to play Texas Holdem with his friends three times a week.
