Richard Allen Kelly passed away peacefully at his home in Port Richey on Wednesday May 22, 2024, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 10, 1946 in Waterbury Connecticut, Richard moved to Florida over 40 years ago.

Richard made his home in Pasco County, owned multiple floor covering stores spanning over many years and was a pillar of the Pasco community. Richard was engaged in many social, civic and faith-based organizations Richard was a devout catholic and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel in Hudson. Richard also proudly served in the US Airforce. 

Richard had a passion for cars and fishing and shared that interest with his family and friends. Richard loved spending time with this family and his constant companion, his loving cat Danny Boy. He was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling and meeting relatives who still live in Ireland. 

Richard is survived by his loving wife Cecile, children Richard A. Kelly, Jr. and wife Traci, Patrick Kelly and wife Elisa, Timothy Kelly and wife Jennifer and Lor Kelly as well as 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Richard is predeceased by his parents Stephen and Catherine (Delaney) and siblings Stephen, Thomas, Barbara, Joseph and Robert.
