Rita Ann Baals, 74, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on September 2, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Albert Baals; daughters, Rita Corson, Nicole (Tracey Brooks) Martino; one grandchild, Alicia; two great-grandchildren, Mia, Leo; sister, “Duff” Marlene; brother, Joseph Niessen; feline companions, Rocky and Oreo.

I have been blessed to call you my sister, I also call you my friend; You’ve loved me unconditionally, And stood by me through thick and thin. You’ve shared my joys and sorrows, My laughter and my tears. You’ve been my inspiration growing up through the years. We laughed and played in the school yard of Saint Teresa’s together; then growing up we stood together through good and stormy weather. There’s something God has given to me, He placed a love for you, my Sister, Deep down in the heart of me. Until we meet again I love you.
