Robert “Bob” “Papa” Dale Kase, 93, of New Port Richey Florida, and formerly of Holliston, Massachusetts, passed away December 20th, 2023. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Ralph Benton and Hester Wilhelmina (Rose) Kase and the loving and devoted husband of Barbro Ann (Isakson) Kase who predeceased him in 1998.
Bob graduated from Holliston High School, class of 1950, and was a Korean War Army Veteran serving in Germany. Bob’s career was quite varied as a teenager; boxing baby chicks to be mailed to customers, working in one of Holliston’s shoe factories, working on the railroad that passed through town and working at Fatima Shrine. After his Army service he worked for Ashland Sand and Gravel, various trucking companies, even establishing his own business as R. Kase Trucking. He drove for Lindfelt Lumber and then for W.A. Wilde Company from where he retired in 1995. He touched the lives of so many.
Bob loved his family, neighborhood friends and most especially enjoyed every moment possible with his grandchildren, teaching them baseball; going to their baseball and soccer games; attending dance performances; taking them on “mystery rides” which ended up at local zoos, miniature golf courses, amusement parks and more. He enjoyed his life as a “snowbird”, spending many months in Florida each year. He will be remembered for his sincere smile, his outgoing personality and his fist bumps!
He leaves his daughter Karen Quintero and husband Edward; son Alan Kase and wife Robin; and four grandchildren Christopher, Alexander, Zackery and Samantha. Also surviving him are his sister Sandra Kase; and brother Richard Kase; and was predeceased by his sister Shirley McQuade.
A very special thanks to everyone at Trinity Place Assisted Living who became Bob’s family for the last three years of his life. You provided him and his family with so much love and friendship.
At Bob’s request there will be no formal service. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Holliston Pantry Shelf or a charity of your choice.

Our deepest condolences on your loss. We always enjoyed talking to him but didn’t see him too often. May he rest peacefully now.
