Robert E. Mahoney 80 of Holiday entered into rest May 16, 2021. Bob was born October 1, 1940 in Boston, Mass. the son of the late John and Mary (McTernan) Mahoney.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Janice (Street) Mahoney of Holiday, 2 daughters Kimberly and her husband Russell of Foxboro Mass., Kristine and her husband Henry Cluney of Spring Hill, 1 son Robert Manoney II of Bridgewater, Mass., 2 sisters Geraldine Jackman of Bolton, Mass., Elizabeth and her husband Mike Davis of Manfield, Mass, 4 grandchildren  Russell Freer and his wife Aimee, Robyn Freer Ludwig, and her husband Mark, Craig Cluney, and Samantha Cluney.  He had one great-grandchild Austin Freer. Bob had many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grands. He was predeceased by his brother Jack Mahoney

Bob was an avid family man and loved family vacations and get-togethers.  One of his favorite family vacations was at Grand Shores in September.  He enjoyed swimming, sailing, bowling, and many other games and cookouts at Tahitian Gardens where he lived for the past 13 Years.
Before his retirement, he made his living at Cleveland Twist Drill Company in Mansfield, MA.  Where he was in charge of two departments.  When the company moved he decided to open his own business, Bob’s Contracting, where he was the Head carpenter and teacher to 3 generations.  When he retired to Florida his son took over the company and still operates it today.
Bob and Jan had 59 wonderful years together.  They loved to travel and went on adventures to Hawaii, Alaska, and Newfoundland to name a few.  They loved camping, bowling, and Friday movie night with lifelong friends.  He loved their dog, Charlie.
