Bob was a wonderful member of our community. I remember years ago he helped me when I was the Chairman of the Chasco Fiesta celebration. He helped provide electricity for the portable stages.

We could always count on Bob to help with worthwhile projects in our community.

I also always appreciate this sense of humor!!

RIP Bob!

Speaking in front a crowd is not my thing. However, tomorrow as we celebrate Uncle Bob I will be thinking about the many many memories I have with him. He took me to my first Bucs game, he took me to NYC for the first time, he brought me to the rodeo for the first time, he brought me to the my first Chasco Boat Parade. There are many firsts I was lucky enough to share with him or rather he gave me. I will always love him and I will forever miss him. I moved away from NPR many years ago. The one constant in all those years of coming back was Uncle Bob. Bob was my uncle through marriage but that never mattered, he was always so good to me, my whole life. I remember him taking me for a ride in his crank car that didn’t make it back to the house and he pushed me the whole way. I remember his first car phone and him letting me answer it….Bob Hugues how can I help you. I have too many memories to recount because they are countless. When I was little he was larger than life to me. As I got older he was still larger than life. I Love you Uncle Bob, rest in peace and give a hug to all our loved ones you are with❤️💔
