Robert Eugene Knox ,86, of Odessa, Florida died peacefully on April 3, 2021. Born in Cleveland, Ohio from Alfred Eugene and Mary Cole Knox. Robert graduated from Caldwell High School, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate from St. Leo’s College, San Antonio, Florida. Bob was a veteran serving 23 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 1978. Bob was employed by Cal Fed Bank, Los Angeles, CA as Vice President of the Residential Appraisal Department and retired in 1996. Bob was a life time member of AMVETS and VFW. He served as Commander of AMVETS Post 9 for 3 years. He loved playing golf, salt water fishing, and boating until his health declined. He is survived by his wife Beryl Knox of Odessa, FL; 6 children, Robert Knox (Debbie) of Lakeland, Kathy Knox of Land O Lakes, FL, Michael Pelkey (Tracy)of Homosassa, FL, Teri Chester, (Darrell) of Land O Lakes, FL, Leslie Knox Rainey (Doug) of Sunset, TX and Steven Knox (Kay)of St. Petersburg, FL. Bob is survived by his brother Lary Knox (Donna) of Venice, FL. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Jean and his parents Gene and Mary Knox.
