Robert L. Vigneron, Jr. of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on March 11, 2025 of stomach cancer.

He is the beloved brother of Susanne Bruce, her husband Bob, of Cotuit, Massachusetts and Naples, Florida, and brother Michael Vigneron of Asheville, North Carolina. He also leaves a niece, Danielle Bruce of San Diego, California and a nephew, James Bruce and his wife, Krystina Bruce, and their two children, of Groton, Massachusetts.

Rob was born in Buffalo, New York on October 14, 1949. He graduated from St Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. He served in the Viet Nam War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroic actions in a combat zone.

He will be remembered for his love of debating, reunions, and sports.

Rob is buried at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
