Magoulis, Robert Lawrence “Robâ€, 46 of Tarpon Springs, a school teacher in the Pinellas County School District. Robert was born on December 15, 1973 the son of Bill and Diane (McCue) Magoulis in New Port Richey, Fl.
Those who knew Rob, know that he loved nothing more than being with his family. He was Marci’s best friend in life. His favorite response to her requests was, “Whatever makes you happy.†Rob is the loving and faithful husband and father because of the guidance of his parents, Bill and Diane. Rob prided himself in raising his children with a strong faith in God. He taught Logan to always lead with humility and kindness. Rob was Logan’s number one fan and spent many years coaching Logan on and off the field. He had a strong admiration for Molly’s faith in God and her active participation in church. Rob loved watching Molly perform and was moved to tears when she was singing on stage. Rob was Jack’s personal handyman; always helping him build his many creations. Rob was understanding of Jack’s “schedule†of sleeping in mom and dad’s bed, and not so secretly enjoyed the extra snuggles.
Rob has worked at several schools in Pasco and Pinellas county and made countless friends along the way. Everyone who knows and loves Rob says the same thing…he is THE BEST GUY!
Rob is survived by his loving wife Marci of Tarpon Springs, daughter Molly Magoulis, sons Logan and Jack Magoulis, parents Bill and Diane Magoulis, sisters Jennifer Smith of Tampa, Christine Azevedo and her husband JP of Hoschton, GA., Amy Mainardi of New Port Richey, Melissa Butcher of Tarpon Springs, brothers John Magoulis of Tarpon Springs, Chuck Magoulis of Kingsport, TN and his loving companion Blue.
Family and friends may gather at the Dobies Funeral Home 701 E. Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, Florida on Friday May 15, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Tarpon Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the children’s education fund through the Meal Train website link.

Marci,
My heart aches for you and your beloved children. The joy that Rob felt when Jack was born while we worked together was evident in all the conversations we had. He talked of you often, Marci, and his desire to make the best career decision for your family, to be on “the same calendar”. Rob was one of the few people that I could talk about politics AND religion to, with him always wearing a slight grin and saying, “Let's be clear…” I hope everything Rob believed is now his forever and that your faith will bring peace to you and the kids. All My Love, Vicki

Rob was the happiest person in the world and so much fun to work with! “How are you today?” was always answered with “faannntastic” Mrs. Nettles. He was always upbeat, positive and had a smile on his face every day.
I am so sorry for your loss and thinking of you and your family.

Marci, Logan, Molly and Jack. Life is a precious gift from God. Your Dad was his gift to you and your gift to your Dad is to be strong, loving and understanding that in time you will be together with him in heaven. When Rob would walk into my room, no matter what was going on- he always had a smile. He would say.. ‘Mer- now listen’…. I would be stressed about something and he would just remain calm and tell me what a great job I was doing. I will miss Rob- he was an incredible educator, mentor and leader.
