Geroni, Robina Brown
89, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2020 in New Port Richey, Florida. She was born September 1, 1930 in Glasgow, Scotland to George and Christina (McKay) Johnson and raised in Wolverhampton, England. In 1953 she married John D. Geroni of Red Bank, New Jersey and spent the next 22 years as an Air Force wife, stationed in England, Germany, France, and Italy, as well as California, Montana, Missouri, and Florida. After retirement from the Air Force, John worked for the Bechtel Corporation in Saudi Arabia and Houston, Texas. Robina returned to Florida in 1982 after John passed away, living in Winter Park, Casselberry and Gainesville before settling in New Port Richey.
Robina loved ballroom dancing, big band music, traveling, shopping, and gardening. She dearly loved the companionship of her many dogs and cats over the years. Her family will remember her for her loving and generous heart, her sense of humor, and not least for her stubbornness when she knew she was right.
Robina was predeceased by husband John; parents George and Christina, brothers Edward and Alistair Johnson, and many sisters and brothers in law. She is survived by son John and daughters Judith and Janice (all of Florida); sisters Christine (Cliff) Daffern of Shifnal, England, Gloriet McWilliams of Toronto, Canada, Judith Whitehouse of Wolverhampton, England; sister in law Valerie Johnson of Walsall, England, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the United States, Canada, and England. She leaves behind her cherished companions: her dog, Jake, and her cats Andy, Lucky, and Jasmine.
Thank you to Robina's devoted caregivers: her youngest daughter, Janice, who was a loving and vigilant caretaker as Robina's dementia and physical condition worsened; her son, John, who was a relief caretaker and accompanied her to her many doctor's appointments; Jessica from Right at Home In-Home Care; and her nurses and home health aides from Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Private service. Robina will be laid to rest with John in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to HPH Hospice at Chapters Health Foundation, 3010 W. Azeele St., Suite120, Tampa, FL 33609, or to the animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
Arrangements by Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home.

Beautiful pictures and such a lovely tribute. I feel like I knew Ms Robina through her loving caretaker/daughter Janice. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
