June 06, 1937~October 13, 2021

Ronald Peruski, 84, of Tarpon Springs Florida gained his angel wings on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  Ronald was born in Minden City, Michigan in June 1937 to Lucy and Peter Peruski.  Ronald was one of 9 children and the final one to join them in Heaven.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.

Ronald grew up around the thumb area of Michigan and owned a farm there for many years.  Ronald later moved to the Detroit area, where he worked for General Motors for 30 years as a tool and die maker until he retired. After retiring Ronald moved with his family to Florida in 1991.

While living in Florida he began working as a crossing guard for Sutherland Elementary in Palm Harbor where he worked for an additional 17 years before he retired for the 2nd time.  Ronald loved helping the children along his route and took great pride in wearing a badge during those years.

Ronald had a deep love for his family, friends, and pets.  He would tell anyone who would listen stories about his kids and grandkids.  Ron was proud of his family and he called all his girls his córeczka’s (daughter). He was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Ronald loved music.  He shared his love of music with everyone, and was a proficient player of the saxophone, clarinet, and accordion.  He played in a polka band for many years. He would break out his saxophone and play for fun whenever he could.  He also loved to sing and enjoyed singing for, and with, his family during the holidays. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends out on his lanai where he would share funny stories for everyone to enjoy.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Anna Peruski, and his children Kathy Peruski (Vince), Kevin Hardy (late Donna), Ronald Peruski Jr., Michael Peruski, Tami Roberts (Randy), and Tina Patterson (Byron), as well as 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his daughter Donna Hardy.

The family wishes to thank the nurses with Suncoast Hospice Pinellas for their support during his final days.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
