Rosalie Azzue ,78, lost her battle with dementia on July 24th, 2021. A long-time resident of Middletown and Wolf Lake, New York, and New Port Richey, Florida, she most recently resided in the memory care community at Grand Villa of St. Petersburg, Florida. The daughter of Giuseppe Arena and Elisabeth Walloween, Rosalie was born in Staten Island, New York. Prior to her retirement she was a manager for Catskill OTB, part of the New York State Gaming Commission. Rosalie was predeceased by her husband Anthony V. Azzue. She was a loving mother to her devoted daughter Toni L. Griffin of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by a grandson Hudson B. Griffin; sons Joseph M. Griffin of Redding, California and Bernard G. Griffin of Willoughby, Ohio; and, three stepchildren. Rosalie will be remembered privately by her family.
