Ms. Rosemarie T. Florio, 71, died on November 4, 2021. Born on October 29, 1950, she spent her early years in Parkchester, Bronx, New York. In 1978, her father moved the family to Florida, where she lived for over 40 years in Spring Hill, Holiday, and Port Richey, Florida.

In 1985, Ms. Florio earned her license as a Registered Nurse, and worked in area hospitals. True to her upbringing, she was active in the Catholic Church, and generously offered her vocal talent to sing at numerous church services.

Ms. Florio was the daughter of Frederick A. Florio, who died in 1996, and Flora (Gisseli) Florio, who died in 2007. She is survived by many cousins in Connecticut, New York, Delaware, Virginia, and Florida.

The final resting place for Ms. Florio is the Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens (aka North-Meadowlawn Cemetery) in New Port Richey, Florida. Donations in her memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Memphis Tennessee.
